My Story
I started playing guitar at 12 and have loved it ever since. For years, I avoided music theory though—it seemed complicated and boring. I became a solid rhythm player, learned to sing and play simultaneously, and even picked up solos note for note. But I never unlocked the ability to improvise freely.
Like most of my guitar-playing friends, I could learn and share songs, but true jamming—spontaneous soloing over a progression—eluded me. Occasionally, I’d meet a guitarist who could effortlessly improvise, which seemed like a superpower. I assumed they had natural talent, a great ear, or had studied theory for years.
It took me a long time to discover the simple, fun method I now share in this course. Within your first hour, you'll be soloing across the fretboard using at least one pentatonic position. From there, it only gets better! You'll gain confidence, see how easy it is, and want to share your new skills. Invest in yourself—this small commitment will reward you with a lifetime of guitar enjoyment and a fresh appreciation for music theory.
